"SIND DIE SAMEN FRISCH UND GIBT ES DAFÜR EINE GARANTIE?"

What would be the point of selling non-viable seeds? ...

Being producers and sellers of seeds and plants for over 30 years, the many experiences and results reported by our international or national customers have encouraged us to pay extreme attention to the quality and viability of everything we ship, seeds or plants . This in order to avoid to be accusated of selling non-viable seeds, or plants in poor condition that would perish once received.
Naturally, any serious seller has an interest in doing the same if they want to keep a good reputation.

The majority of the species that produce our seeds are planted in our botanical garden, we store the least long possible by renewing often, it would be impossible to sell non viable seeds.
All the seeds come from our own plants (with the exception of certain baobab species that we collect ourselves in Madagascar).

Before each shipment, the seeds are one by one checked, and we regularly add several free seeds in each sachet. The same goes for plants shipped, the good condition of which is always checked before packaging for shipment.

Unlike many sellers on the internet, we are not seed retailers: buying seeds from a dealer does not guarantee the viability of the seeds, their provenance, or even the botanical species.

Obviously, even in a batch of viable seeds at first sight, the germination ratio remains random. It depends on many parameters, including among others:
- The conditions of cultivation (temperature, humidity, health status of the substrate),
- The species, some species are very difficult to germinate, others are very easy.
- The state of life of the seeds because, for the majority of the species, the seeds can go dormant for long months, even years. For example Adansonia, Pachypodiums, Adenium, Cyphostemma, etc. Some species do not germinate if they too "fresh" (i.e: Adansonia).

Therefore, we cannot validate messages of the type: "nothing has germinated and yet I have experience, so the seeds that you sell are not good ...", or even "the seeds bought from you did not germinate, whereas those bought from another seller and sown at the same time germinated without problem".

We cannot provide any guarantee of success: indeed, it is impossible to control the conditions in customers grow. A poorly controlled parameter, temperature, insufficient or saturated humidity for example, a cold spell, an invisible attack of fungi, and everything can be called into question.

We have a reputation for seriousness and we want to, so the viability of the seeds is a very important point for us, and a failure in sowing can in no case come from a problem of viability of the seeds shipped.

As far as possible, we obviously study with benevolence and will show goodwill towards customers which will not blam us to be responsible of the bad results obtained with the seeds or plants received. However, no refund can be offered.
